Supporting Haitian Scholars

University Without Borders is dedicated to extending educational opportunities to students from Haiti, offering pathways to scholarships that enable access to school beyond high school.

A Dream for Haiti

One of the greatest speeches ever written was “I Have a Dream” by Martin Luther King Jr. Today, as we witness the difficult atmosphere in our country, Haiti, we cannot help but reflect on that beautiful speech. As proud Haitians, we, too, have a dream—a dream of a better future for a country devastated by countless disasters, both natural and human-made. We believe this is the perfect time for "real Haitians" to stand up and make a difference.

Investing in Haiti's Future

Education: The Reset Button

Someone once said that “life has a reset button.” For Haiti, that reset button is needed now, and it will work only with education as the engine. We truly believe that education can be the force that leads Haiti down a new path built on excellence, integrity, discipline, and dignity.

We owe this to ourselves. Many of us grew up in Haiti, where we could attend school and college without paying a dime in tuition. In this time of darkness, it is our turn to give back.

Our Commitment to Haiti

This is why we chose to embark on this endeavor—hoping our actions will help rebuild the Haiti we all once cherished. The Haitian population remains undereducated and underserved, and as a result, inefficient for its own development. Income inequality is one of the biggest drivers of poverty in the world, especially in Haiti.

Addressing Inequality

Making higher education our top priority allows us to address these issues and build a brighter future by creating a new generation of professionals. These new leaders will be capable of driving our energy and knowledge toward the development of our country.

We're Sponsoring a Generation

At University Without Borders, our goal is to sponsor 10,000 young Haitians, between the ages of 19 and 29, to attend vocational schools and colleges abroad over the next 10 years.

  • A Commitment to Return: Upon graduation, these students will return to Haiti to contribute to economic development by creating businesses and sharing their knowledge.

Support in Empowering Haitian Students

While our initial target is 10,000 students, this number could grow significantly with increased funding. Our ultimate goal is to support as many underprivileged Haitian students as possible. The key to our success lies in the generosity of our sponsors, and we request that you join our mission and help us provide education to everyone.
